'Warm & Natural' Cotton Wadding/Batting - For Quilting
This cotton wadding (also called batting) is perfect for quilts, crafts and wearable art! Only the highest grade cotton fibres grown in the US are selected and punched with hundreds of needles through a strong, thin base material holding the fibres together without glue. Your needle will easily glide through your quilt. The tiny plant particles lend a special look to crafts like no other.
Suitable for quilts, decorative wall hangings, cuddly soft sculpture dolls, wonderful wearable art and a lot more!
Benefits of Needlepunch: Will not separate or bunch. Contains no resins of glues, will not beard, leave up to 10'' open, use as an exterior craft fabric.
Care instructions: Once quilted, machine wash and dry finished quilt in cold water. Quilt or tie up to 10'' apart. Expect a 3% shrink-age. To pre-shrink, follow the optional pre-wash instructions below:
Hand wash mild detergent. Do not agitate or spin in washer. Soak for 20 minutes, rinse several times. Squeeze out water. Do not wring. Rolling in a towel helps. Dry in a warm dryer or lay flat to air dry.

Great weight used as one layer in these Aga covers
It’s the first time I’ve used this wadding from pound fabrics, I usually buy the bamboo wadding from them but I didn’t need as much so I bought the cotton wadding which is sold by the meter which is a great idea. I washed and dried the wadding as instructed before use and it turned out very well. Shrinkage was minimal and dried very quickly. It was lovely to work with. I will definitely buy and use again.

Great quality- perfect thickness for a quilted jacket.
Lovely and soft. I pre- washed just in case it shrunk as I am not keen on the crinkled quilt look, however the shrinkage was minimal. This is the second time I have used this wadding and will definitely buy again. Difficult to photo as it is sandwiched.
This is for the middle of a topocino that my daughter is making as part of her Montessori training. It uses 8 layers for the centre. Very happy with the quality of this fabric.
I ordered this because I wanted to make some microwaveable bowl cosies. I made a mistakel ordering this as the wadding needs to be 100% cotton to be microwaveable. However, this will come in handy fror other projects like bags, so no harm done. It was a good price and will definitely be used.
Wadding. Lovely wadding comes in 1 metre lengths and was soft and perfect for my quilt. I pre-washed as I am not keen on the crinkled look in a quilt and there was minimal shrinkage if any at all. Thinner than I thought - but that’s my fault because I think I make my quilts too thick. I would definitely buy again.
