Somewhere in the skirt of this dress is the fabric. I used 3 different types including net. I wanted depth while trying to avoid weight as the tentacles still had to be added.
I think it looked good . Ursula was happy (& and amazing)
Couldn’t get gold or bronze net for this costume so upgraded a bit and I’m glad I did .
A bit more opulent, just wish I bought more.

Lovely red colour and had a nice sheen to it. 1st time I've used organza and it was initially difficult to sew but with practise, I got a nice rolled hem on edges
Gorgeous transparency for an ove layer, or an evening jacket, or layered skirt (with base lining). I want to make a draw string shirt dress to wear over camisole and trousers.
